Red Scarf Project / AIDS Awareness Day

Today was truly inspiring as I had the chance to speak at the AIDS Committee of North Bay & Area's #WorldAIDSDay event at the North Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre.

I'm grateful to have been given the opportunity to share my thoughts on such an important cause as it also marked #daywithoutart and #IndigenousAidsAwarenessWeek

This years Red Scarf Project has also started, which aims to raise awareness about HIV / AIDS and the need to support those affected by it. You can find red scarves around lamp posts on Main Street in North Bay, each with information about HIV / AIDS awareness.

Le Comité sida et les personnes qui travailler sont très passionnés par leur travail et ils veull s’assurer que nous limitons la propagation des virus par l’éducation et la sensibilisation et simplement être connectés à notre communauté.

I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers who took the time to knit these scarves. Your commitment and kindness are truly appreciated.

I encourage everyone to pick up a red scarf and see how they can help spread information about HIV / AIDS Awareness. By working together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by this virus.
